“You have something I get attracted to.
I can see a light in you!
A light so magical, so full of life
Fills me with joy and pleasure…
Pleasure of an essence, joy of a narcotic!”
“Stay away from me!
For that blazing thing is an Inferno you see.
It burns inside me day and night
Blinding naive eyes like yours”
“I want to be burnt in that Inferno
For what you are is what I want to know
It’s worth knowing
Why and how that Inferno exists in you;
Your fire is pure and pious
I want to stay in the light you contain
For I know I’ll find my nirvana there
As does a moth
Circling around the light it wants
For its life
Knowing it’ll be burnt one day!”
“My dear, you seek a dangerous light
Don’t be a moth, don’t you fight
For something so dicey
Or you will burn yourself to death
Chasing the light that can never be yours
Rather be a firefly,
To twinkle like stars on wet grasses
To decorate the garden of a monsoon wedding…
To be the sparkles of joy for a mid night lullaby
To be light of wisdom for an angelic being
Or to illuminate the path of lost travellers…
Do not seek a light because it’ll only hurt
Be the light that you seek”

Life is but a beautiful dream…
With sun,the flowers and rivers agleam!
Each one of them inspiring us
With its own, own little story
None showing pride over its
Long, long won victory!
Flowers spread aroma of life..
Conjuring up dead souls alive..
Offered to the greats and the departed ones…
Simply personified as nature’s nuns…
To be benevolent we learn
From the mighty rivers…
For Holiest of deeds is
Satisfying others thirst…
And the richest of all kings
Is the powerful Sun,
For brightest are the jewels it possesses
And donates them all to the world!..
How can we humans contribute
To this beauty that the nature bears?
By wearing a smile that can light up the world
And carrying a heart that can wash away all dirt…
In continuation to my post Little Girl’s poetry published on 6th July 2015
It’s a rainy day
Its lovely to see
The trees that sway
Pleased are the pigeons
Who have been cooing since dawn
Through their melodious coo
Have enriched my lawn!
The naughty sparrows are chirping
Under the threshold
Inside them is a pleasure
Which is untold.
The tiny droplets of water
On the majestic rose
Appears to be crystals
That are sprinkled by god’s ministerial.
The rainfall has set
The grass tender and wet.
I imagine to walk barefoot on it
And wonder of the pleasure
I would get from it.
Thought the raindrops
Have wetted the floor
And the wind
Is blowing more and more
I like my windows open
Because when the cool breeze move in
I fee like i’m in heaven!
